Rim Oven
 
It is made from two truck wheel rims welded together and it stands on three legs. The outer casing and chimney are made of mud and brick, which maximizes efficiency, and has two interior baking shelves. Rim Oven uses firewood as source of fuel and it is ideal for use in rural areas where firewood is readily available. It consumes approximately 7kg of firewood per 9 loaves of bread per batch.
Kgotetso Oven
 
It is suited to use by medium to large scale bakeries where there is no access to electricity. It uses either firewood or coal as sources of fuel and can bake 40 loaves of bread per batch or 240 loaves per day. Fuel consumption: 3 loaves per kg and coal is 4 loaves per kg.
