Is a manually operated mechanical press which moulds soil-cement building blocks (300 x 150 x 100mm. Approximately 55 blocks can be moulded from a bag of cement depending on the soil to cement ratio.

Fly Ash Blocks
Fly ash, a by-product of coal combustion in power stations can be used as an alternative building material to cement for production of low-cost construction blocks. Fly ash can also be used to make other forms of bricks such as stock bricks. By using fly ash RIPCO (B) is recycling a highly dusty material into a secondary product, which reduces its adverse effect on the environment.
