Scheffler Reflector Cooker
The cooker uses solar energy which is environmentally friendly and non-depletable. It is capable of preparing meals for about 75-100 people using big cooking pots (size 25) in a period of 2.5-4 hours depending on the type of meal and weather. It is therefore ideal for use in institutions such as schools, hospitals and prisons where food is prepared in large quantities.

Photovoltaic (PV) Pump (Direct Current – DC)
The system comprises of PV panels, DC motor/pump set and rising main (Ø Flexible Hose). The PV panels convert the sun’s energy into direct current (DC) electricity. The electricity produced is then directly transferred to the motor (without conversion to AC electricity) through electrical cables, which in turn drive the pump. The water from the borehole is pumped through the rising main to the reservoir or to the point of use.
